The Poetry Kit is one of a group of literature sites supported by the Arts Council of England and contains extensive listings of events, courses, competitions, poetry tours, organisations, publishers, workshops, recommended books, poetry societies, magazines, and a whole lot more from all over the world, in fact, everything the poet of today needs to keep their muse alive and inspiring them in our rather unromantic age, despite the rather unimaginative logo (it doesn't rhyme or anything).

A company that specialises in printing self-publishing authors. if you thought you could never afford to get your work published without a publishing house plucking you from obscurity and launching you on the road to fame and fortune, think again. You will be amazed and not a little excited at how cheap it can be to become a published author using this company's services.
Another site that specialses in self-publishing, along with E-books, calendars, etc. etc. Based in The USA, they are probably not the most cost-effective printer for those of us in the UK, but their E-book publishing operation looks pretty good. Definitely worth a lokk, especially as they have special offers quite frequently. http://www.lulu.com/uk/index.php

Another member of the FWWCP, Pecket Well is not a college in the conventional sense, it "Was set up and is run by people working on things in their lives that hold them back, such as reading and writing. We work together, with individuals or groups sharing our strengths, as people, not as tutors or students. There is space to work in small groups, or on your own with help at hand if needed. It is for people who have missed out on education. If you want to work with others like yourselves to overcome your fears and share your strengths, then Pecket Well College is for you".
