Poetry, What is it good for?
If you want to learn more about poetry, go to the BBC website HERE
A great free site that you can use to publicise your events etc. A word of warning, according to this site's search engine, St Leonards on Sea doesn't exist, but Hastings does! This site has just about everything you need to know about writing and how to get published, including news and reviews, a problem page(for writing problems), articles on how deal with rejection (of a publishing kind), short stories from contributers, a writer's forum, a self-publishing advice service, a printing service, a bookstall, a list of agents (UK and US), a list of links to useful sites, and a whole lot more I can't be bothered to tell you about, definitely well worth a look.

The Poetry Kit is one of a group of literature sites supported by the Arts Council of England and contains extensive listings of events, courses, competitions, poetry tours, organisations, publishers, workshops, recommended books, poetry societies, magazines, and a whole lot more from all over the world, in fact, everything the poet of today needs to keep their muse alive and inspiring them in our rather unromantic age, despite the rather unimaginative logo (it doesn't rhyme or anything).
