Here you see the members of the group hard at work (actually it was our tea break). The Monday Evening Group is quite informal with members reading or performing work they wish to share. Members can take turns leading the group in an exercise on a subject that is dear to their hearts. Not forgetting, of course the partaking of tea, biscuits and some lively discussions during proceedings!                                                           

Attendance is free but a donation would be appreciated to help cover the cost of the refreshments, (considerable!) and the hire of the room (negligible). £2 is the suggested amount (each, I'm afraid).

The group have published several magazines of their work, including,"On A Stranger Shore", "When Icicles Hang" and "Rising Sap" If you'd like a copy of any or all these, you can contact us by email at: "mondaygroup@shorelinkwriters.org.uk". So if you're interested in writing, be it  poetry or prose, why not come along one night? Where else could you have a good evening out and a good read as well!
